Travis Crowder wins his second tournament in three starts.  Travis barely edged out Edward Parker.  Travis weighed in 3 fish with a 4.48 lbs lunker.  The lunker enabled him to best Ed's 4 fish by 0.20 lbs.  Ed had a great showing fishing as a rider with Bill Easter.  While Ed was able to land 4 fish, Bill was unable to land a keeper.  Craig Womack finished in third place with 4.34 lbs.  Others who weighed 1 fish were:  Tony Pilot - 2.50 lb; Ken Melton - 2.30 lbs; and Robert Reid - 1.74.  This was not a typical Upper Chesapeake Bay outing.  It is one of the smallest number of fish brought to the scale of any tournament held on the Upper Bay. 8 September 2007 - Wicomico River
Salisbury Marina
Bill Easter was able to capture his second win of the season on the Potomac River.  Hawg Wild Bassmasters' second tournament was a tough one.  Easter was able to win with only 2 fish.  Although, one of the two was over 5 lbs.  Easter's two fish weighed 6.43 lbs.  Travis Crowder came to the scales with three fish that weighed in at 6.06 lbs, however a problem with his livewell after taking his boat out of the water killed his catch and cost him 5 ounces per fish (.93 lbs).  The penalty put Travis  (5.13 lbs) in a tie with Doug Stanton (5.13) for second.  Per club rules, in the case of a tie, the first tie-break is the angler with the most fish and the second tie-break is the angler with largest fish.  Travis had the largest fish.    Fourth place went to Edward Parker with three barely legal fish that went 3.18 lbs, Dave Albritton - 5th (3.00 lbs); Craig Womack - 6th (2.50 lbs); Rob Reid - 7th (2.12 lbs); Tony Pilot - 8th (2.10 lbs); Tim Parker - 9th (2.10 lbs); Ken Melton - 10th (1.44 lbs); Howard Williams, Bill Green, and Sam Smith were unable to catch a keeper.  For complete results click on file to left of photos.
