Hawg Wild Bassmasters members gathered on a bright sunny Saturday morning to do their part to Save the Chesapeake Bay. Club members stenciled the words "Don't Dump - Chesapeake Bay Drainage" on over 25 storm drains in the Marlborough South Sub-division of Prince George's County Maryland. The Chesapeake Bay Foundation encourages individuals and groups to help remind neighborhoods that drains are linked to the Bay and only rain should enter the storm drains. The stenciling of storm drains informs people that anything that enters the drain goes into the Chesapeake Bay. Due to the conservation efforts to keep the Chesapeake Bay clean, the Hawg Wild Bassmasters were featured in an article that was published in the January 2008 edition of the Bass Times. check out pg 32.
